Made a translation of a song important to me, Co Cię Czeka by Barbara Brylska. This one I hoped to perform in Quenya, but it really calls for Sindarin, which I expect is not yet rusty after so long a non-usage! As always, following the metre and music was my topmost priority, and retaining the sense - the second one.

I•'welwen gîr,
Loss, heleg, mith…
Rhîwath telir…
Cuilen, cuilen 'wanna — Ú-dherig i•beleth.
Man im horog? — Nidhig periad…
Istog: tolatha aur,
Iston: tolatha lû,
Ir i•Anor laugada i•'aear,
Aewath dadwenir.

Cuilen, cuilen 'wanna — Ú-dherig i•beleth.
Man im horog? — Toleg periad…
Istog: tolatha aur,
Iston: tolatha lû,
Ir i•Anor laugada i•'aear,
Aewath dadwenir…

I used the various future tenses of Sindarin to distinguish senses of thought.

Uwielbiam Barbare Brylska jako artystke, ale po raz pierwszy sluchalem jej spiewu.Bardzo ladna piosenka, troche smutna, ale w koncu-optymistyczna!
