A lament of King Midas: quantitative.

Ŷngin ed ylvath eryd, iuithathon eithil erui.

[I used to drink from kingly goblets, now only springs are of use to me.]

erui 'single, only, just' < er + ui

Is it sog- that have become ^yngin?

+Hjalmar Holm Yes, it is an analogical past tense for soga-, ûnc_ < u-hunc (cf. N. _sunc in the Etymologies and auv < a-hawv) + inflexional suffix -in (for 'basic' verbs ending with D, B, G, DH, N, V).
