In my quest to name the plants in Elvish: Having read the legumes article in Arda philology 4, I soon came up with the following ideas: erdhwaed (or some other compound of eredh/erdh and gwaeda-) for pea, mablain for vicia spp and similarly climbing plants with tendrils (mâb, maba- hand, seize), nellas for trifolium spp (thri-leaf), carnellas for trifolium pratense, tugerdh for bean (thick, swelling seed).
