Was anybody from our community at Omentielva Otsëa, like good Maester Kalimac here?

It's Quenya for "seventh meeting." It's the International Conference on J.R.R. Tolkien's Invented Languages, and it's been held every other year since 2005. Always, until now, in Europe; but when it comes to within a few mile...

I went and had a blast. I am still digesting what I learned (a lot) but may speak more about it later.

I was there too! I just flew back home last night, and slept a good 12 hours when I got home. It was way too exciting and fun to sleep much at the conference, though the dorm beds didn't help much in that regard, lol.

LOVED that! I only hope to be present in person next time... Perhaps, after the research on a single letter, it would be time for analysing a single word?

I was also there, and greatly enjoyed myself. I'm in the process of glossing and rewriting the hasty notes I took while I can still make informed guesses as to what they're intended to say. As for analyzing a single word, Carl did express his hopes of seeing even more speculation from others on some of the forms in VT50 (there has been a small amount already).

There, I wrote up my response to the adventure: realelvish.net - Omentielva Otsëa

Now I am green with envy. It sounds you guys have had great fun. I am so glad for you!

Which made me think how one could say 'envy, envious' in Q. Milme, milka is close but no pipe-weed. Perhaps *exemilme 'greed for the other('s)'?
