Hi, new here. I would love to learn Quenya, I downloaded the text book of the net, but I always have a hard time sticking with it from a lack of other people to talk to, so hoping this will help me improve. Any tips on improving besides just practise practise practise?

Hello Kevin, welcome to the community. What textbook did you download?
The number of people studying Quenya at any time is quite small so it is not easy to find ways to get some "live" practice. What I can suggest is that you write/translate texts - short sentences first, then maybe paragraphs etc. -, post them to places like this one, and there will always be people who are willing to comment on it, give you advice etc.
We also have a Quenya Chat category where you can initiate conversations in Quenya.

I have the Quenya course by Helge K. Fauskanger. I put the pdf on my ereader to study it more often

+Kevin Philippi that's a very good starting point indeed.

I'd highly recommend the renewed version of HKF's manual
folk.uib.no - folk.uib.no/hnohf/lessons.rtf
