I always believed that linnyd are perfectly fit for epitaphs. So, a tomb-stone:
Sîdhren no, lith uivellen, sí dartho ten i 'Ellor.
(N. Karamzin)
[Restful be, O ash ever-beloved, lay here until the Joyful Morning.]
ten
'until' (cf. Q.
tenna
< TEN)
Gellor
'Joyful Morning' < gell + aur (double
ll
is not contracted when before vowels)
