I did this translation years ago, I'm just reviving it because I am re-reading the series:

Endanyasse sambi i astonen súyar
Ar litsínen mí urma.
Mauya nin poita ar auswesta ta
Tenn' anaróreo hwesta.
Mal lanye pole ricitas,
An nanta asto melda nin,
An asto ar litsi enyalir,
Melissenya anes sí.

My heart has rooms that sigh with dust
And ashes in the hearth.
They must be cleaned and blown away
By daylight's breath.
But I cannot essay the task,
For even dust to me is dear;
For dust and ashes still recall,
My love was here

(From The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever by Stephen R Donaldson)

Thanks to PE 17 we now have an authentic word for 'hearth', ruimen (p.183).

Indeed - but that ruims (ahem) my rhyme:)
