I thought this would be a timely translation, with the daffodil season upon us in full.

Lalmalini / Daffodils

Erya ve fanya ranyanen
Ya vile or ambor nandaye,
Yas' lintie rimbe tuntanen,
*Lalmalion úme, laurie;
Ara nende, nu i alda,
Alilta, awilwila mi hwesta.

Vorime ve éli sisílala,
tintila pa *Elentie,
palanyente mi téma úmétima
ara londeva sarnie:
*Quaimence ítasse hententanen,
arihta carentar liltanen.

Arte falmali liltaner, mal te
Meryave lahtaner i wingi rilye,
Lá ece na exa i maitaren
Mal alassea imbi taite:
Tirnen ta tirnen mal titta sinten,
ma alma i apantiénen hirnen:

An *lillume yas' caitanye
Mi inwalme *immosúrea, lusta,
ítante te hendunna miquerne
Ya almare eresseva:
Ta endanya alasseo quanta,
Ar as *lalmalini lilta.

------

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

William Wordsworth

*lalmale / lalmalin: updated version of EQ kankale-malina "yellow laughter, daffodil", from LALA 'laugh' (although kankale-malina remains a valid option for the name of the flower)
†_tunta_: EQ 'see, perceive, notice'; used here for rhyme and rhythm
*quaimence: "ten thousand" *mence "thousand" from S meneg cf. Menegroth
*lillume: "many times, often"
*immosúrea: "self-seeking, introspective"
*Elentie: "star-path, Milky Way"
