In our university, students can anonymously assess the performance of teachers, express their opinions on courses, etc. at the end of each semester. In this semester, one of my students added an "elvish" remark to his/her assessment in Systematic Zoology. I have no idea how he/she knew my interest in elven languages or any Tolkienian topic, I have never mentioned it to any students, though I use a special "trademark" symbol for my ppt lecture presentations (a 'G' tengwa inside a 'L' tengwa). The sentence is half-Sindarin, half-Quenya, and totally erroneous, but whatever, it’s funny and touching, isn't it? It just made my day.

I just thought I share this with you. :)
